A little care goes a long way in helping your candle burn beautifully and evenly.
Before Each Burn
Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before lighting. Keeping the wick properly trimmed helps promote a cleaner, more even burn and reduces excessive flame and soot.
The First Burn
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface of the candle, or as close to the edges as possible. This helps encourage an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
While Burning
• Burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from drafts, fans, vents, children, pets, and flammable materials.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Do not move or handle the candle while the wax is hot or melted.
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.
• For best performance, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
When to Stop Burning
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Burning a candle beyond this point may cause the container to become excessively hot.
After Each Burn
Extinguish the flame carefully and allow the wax to cool completely before moving, covering, or relighting your candle. Once cooled, trim the wick again before your next burn.
